Went to the training session yesterday and if I say so myself, I did quite well. Started off a bit slow but mum got some ham treats and there was no way I was going to miss out on them so did everything by the book. I had a good play with Buddy who is my best friend now. I met all the other dogs again and we are all best pals too.

Lauren has been training me today and we are doing well. Mum does most of my training during the day so I get plenty of treats if I do well.

Here are some pics of me on an afternoon trip to the park last week. You will notice I have grown up a fair bit recently.

Chasing staffies

Today started badly. Mum gave me that yukky tripe mince, which I didn't eat. But because I didn't eat it I never got my chicken wing - so I was quite sad.

Had a great time at the park, but mum was a bit worried, as I kept running off, she kept shouting "charlie come", but I was having too much fun to listen to her. I first ran after a great bike, he went all the way across the park and I nearly caught him. Then I ran after a jogger but he couldn't see me so nearly trod on me. Lastly I saw a staffie dog who I thought I'd like to make friends with, he was way over the other side of the park, but once I started running, mum had no chance of catching me and I just ignored her calls. Luckily for me the staffie was okay, he just ignored me, even when I smelt his bum and kept running after him he just kept running away. Mum was getting very frustrated with me now, so I thought I'd better go and calm her down, but when I for back to her she put me straight on my lead and made me go home - guess I did something wrong, not sure what though??

Dinner was much better I ate all my mince (which strangely tasted nicer this evening) and I got my chicken wing after, which was very yummy.

Daddy and sis took me for another quick walk after my dinner, now I'm doing my blog and will be going to bed very soon, as I am very tired.

I had my second training session last Tuesday. I am friends with lots of the other dogs now which is reassuring. They have got me walking about alot more and following the treats. It's quite stressful as I have to do it with mum while everyone watches. One of the dogs got in a scrap with the trainers dog and ended up with a bloody nose. He squealed with pain.

Back at home my meals have changed. I have to eat my mince in the morning first, and then I get my chicken wing. I let mum know I wanted chicken first but she didn't give in. No lunch anymore so by teatime I am starving. I still manage to leg ity upstairs and scoop a mouthful of Daisy's food before I get collared.

I am doing lots of training everyday at home and in the park as need to put on a good show at the training class.

Barking at chickens

Today I went to a park with a little farm. The park is where dad mum and sis used to live. They call it thier old house not that it is old though. Before we went to the park Lauren's Nanny came round and then came to the park with us.

In the little farm was a big cat. I went up to her and growled a bit like I do. The cat swung a claw at me which put me in my place. I stayed clear of him after that. I had a good look at the chickens and horses. There were loads of rabbits too but mum kept hold of me as she knows how I would have chased them otherwise.

On the way home there were three big dogs ahead so dad picked me up to keep me safe. We don't like big dogs !

It keeps raining all the time. Every time I go outside now it's raining and I get wet. Until I am better behaved though indoors I keep being sent outside.

Managed to get a bite of Daisys cat food earlier. She won't notice and it tastes great.

My first training session

Lauren went back to school so everyone got up early, which was great as I got my breakfast sooner, but I did miss her when she was at school.

I went to my first dog obedience class this evening with mum, dad and sis. I was really scared of all the other dogs, some barked alot and some were absolutely enormous, I think I was the smallest dog there!!. I kept trying to hide behind the chair, but mum finally got me out with some tasty cheese treats.

The trainer told mum she had to teach me to sit, stay and down, but without saying a word - mum and me thought this was silly. Well I guess we'll see how it goes. We have to train now every day for 1 hour, hopefully, mum, dad and sis will help me cause I want to do my best to show the trainer next week how much I have improved, and I will try to be braver next week.
