Fat

It's official. mum says I am fat. Now take a look at this pic of me from yesterday. Do I look fat ? She says I have to go on a diet and cut down on treats. I am not liking that.

Nothing ever gets said about Daisy and she aint that thin !

Everyones been on the Wii over Christmas, and I have got my own Wii Mii. I look great chasing the frisbee and running after the bikes in the track race. Mums gonna weigh me on the Wii fit board to keep track of my weight. I'm getting real self concious you know.

New pal Bailey

Hey, guess what ! I have a new pal. A pup from Hook called Bailey.

I met him on Sunday and we had a great time. Got to say he does play a bit rough so I did my fiercest growl at him to warn him who's the boss. Ian helped me out too. You know you have to put these pups in their place early or they will just take over.

Not impressed with the adults though. They sat through a whole lasagne meal and didn't give us any scraps. They even had pudding you know. I jumped up and put on my sad face but they were having none of it. This was a bit embarrassing as I was trying to teach Bailey how us dogs get treats.




After Bailey got told off by Karen he got a wee bit upset and had a puppy sulk. Can't say I blame him but still had fun teasing him over it.
Lauren made a right old fuss over Bailey. Jealous ? Not at all, but if she thinks she's going to get hugs off me again she can think twice.





After dinner it was time to go home. It had been a busy day and Bailey needed a nap. He gave me a quick kiss, and off we all went for a rainy trip back.

Night Watchman

Here I am on duty, looking after things while Dad sleeps. I patrol the house and garden in the evening too. Just the slightest noise sends me yapping all over the house to scare anything away. Mum does not appreciate it tho' as I drown out the TV.

Had some bad weather at the weekend and the park was very windy. The gusts were almost pushing me over and my ears were flaping all over the place. Having to do a bit more street walking as its so wet out. Allows me to have a good sniff around.

Got some decorating happening soon in the hallway and upstairs so guess I am going to be spending some time in the garden. I will have to put on my sad face so I get to come in quickly.

my big brother and halloween

Hi nice to see you again.

Well on Sunday 25th October my big brother Steven came round from Ireland and he just went back on the plane. He played with me lots and I liked that. I miss him lots. He stayed for a week and i'll tell you what we have been doing.

Well on Sunday he unpaked and chilled out. Sis, Steven and dad played this ball game were there is this blow up ball and they throwed it around, also he played with me and at night i cuddled up with him.

On Monday sis, dad and bruv played on the wii that Steven had brang round.They also took me for a walk around the block. I enjoy walks alot.

On Tuesday dad, bruv and sis went to Chessington and I stayed at home with mum.

On Wednesday bruv and dad went to see a football match at Emirates stadium.

On Thursday sis, bruv and dad went swimming at Windsor swimming pool. After that nan, mum, dad, sis, and bruv went to a firework display and they brought some sparklers. My anut, uncle and cousins came to.

On Friday mum used this big thing called a leaf blower to make all the leafs blow off the grass and I watched mum as she did that. It was very loud. After that dad, sis and bruv took me for a walk to the park.

On Saturday dad and bruv went to another football match. While they were at the football match mum was doing Laurens makeup. She was a vampire and she had a cloak and fake teeth. I couldn't stop looking at her as it didn't look like her at all. That day they gave me a bath too and steven looked scary too in his halloween costume. I couldnt stop looking at both of them and they came back with lots of sweets.

September

Well into September now and it's getting dark a bit earlier when I am out in the park having a frolic. I am friends with all the regulars over the park now. Not scared anymore. I even run back to mum, dad, sis when called. Guess my mesing around days as a pup are gone.

Gonna have a hair cut soon. Will have to be on my best behavious or could end up with a nasty cut.

Had a good walk round Ruislip lido last week and do the school run again now that sis is back at school. Back on the brownie beat too.

Still making sure the cat knows whose boss. I don't ever let her settle down for too long before making a nusiance of myself. Keeps her on her toes.

Not Impressed

Dad was at the beer festival last night which meant I missed out on a run in the park. It's not on you know, why should I miss out while he goes out on the lash. You just wait, when he takes me out tonight, do you think I gonna come running when he calls me.....

Swimming

The weather is getting warmer and I get the chance to go to the park twice a day now. Once with mum in the morning, and then with dad and sis in the evening.

Anne from across the road popped in yesterday with the little dog she was looking after called twiggy. She is really small and cute. We played in the back garden.

Last week Ihad myfirst ever swim. We were at Black Park and it was sunny, and all the dogs were running into the shallow end of the lake so after a while I dipped my paws in and before you know it, I was in there up to my neck swimming around. A tadge cold but quite refreshing.

Smart New Haircut

Hello, I had my first haircut this week, and I feel great now.

Nicky is my new groomer and she has the same ginger hair as me!!! She really loved me, and told my mum that out of over 100 cavaliers that she grooms she only had 2 others that were the same quality as me..... I felt really chuffed, not sure what quality means though!! mums says it's my glossy coat, my weight and shape that make me good quality. Nicky said I could be a show dog.

Anyway Nicky said it was a pleasure to groom, me and I enjoyed it too, can't wait to see her again in a couple of months.

happy birthday

hi its me charlie its my birthday tomorow and im sooooo excited i cant wait. Sis,mum and dad are planning something speical for me and im glad they are.My faimly are comeing round and they mit give me a preasnt and a big cuddle (i love cuddles).

April

It's April now and the weather is much better. The grass in the park is dry and I can run really fast now. Dad and Sis take me to the park quite a lot and Sis plays hide & seek with me. She hides in the bushes or behind trees and then I have to hunt her down.

The exercise is keepng me healthy and I am not puting on any weight which is good.
I just have one big meal each morning and that's enough for me now says mum. I don't agree and will eat anything I am given.

I am walking much better now on the lead and don't tug so hard which pleaes everyone. They only had to ask you know instead of muzzling me.

Sis is back to school tomorrow after the Easter break soit's back to a routine for me with breakfast, then the school run, park, then sleep. I don't know how I manage to cram it all in.

operation

I am 10 months old and have recently come back from the vets after having my tackle operated on. It looks quite sore, and to be honest it is sore, but I am being brave and feeling better each day. I need to keep clean and dry so can't go to the park for a few days which is a shame as I miss all my friends such as Ollie, Charlie the black dog, Poppy, Gena, Monty, Penny, Sandy, Fudge, Rose, Jessie, Suzi and Charlie the poodle.

I love growling and barking at the moment. I am sure there are other animals in my garden but everyone else says there is nothing there.

It's red nose day soon and Sis has a red nose that I am determined to chew. Dad has just cut up my marrowbone so I can knaw that for ages outside.

Daisy the cat is not so scared of me now. She sticks her paw up at me if I get annoying so I am careful not to get too close.

I have my stitches out in 8 days time so looks like another trip to the vet is due soon. Wish me luck.

Snow

Today it snowed, and I had such fun....

Barking Mad

Hi there, it's me Charlie, had another fright today, got attacked on my walk in the park this morning. He was a little dog like me, but didn't seem to like me much, luckily, mum shouted at him before he got chance to sink his teeth into my leg, and he ran away. It was very scarey though, especially since last week when a big dog pinned me to the ground and kept growling at me, until mum picked me up. She thinks I'm giving off a smell because I'm 8 months old now, and I maybe need to have my operation?? whatever that it. Hopefully I can have it soon, so the other doggies start being nice to me again.

Something else I've noticed lately is that I keep barking at the french doors out onto the garden. Sometimes its the workmen next door - as they get on my nerves, and other times I'm protecting my family from the boogieman. Mum thinks it's my age again, so hopefully this is something else that will get sorted once I have my operation. I have to say though she is beginning to lose her patience with me, as once I start I can't seem to stop. I'll need to work on it.

New person:STEVEN

On the twentyninth I saw my big Bro Steven.He came all the way over from Ireland!.I remember him from when I saw him in August.He was very surprised how big I got.

A day later Dad and Steven took me for a walk over in the park it was FREEZING brrrr the ground was all hard and frosty.

A few playful days later Mum and Sis went to their freinds.Dad got annoyed at me for trying to eat the Christmas tree and he put it out in the conservetory.I missed Mum and Sis very much.


The next day I woke up to the sound of Mum and Sis talking but where was Dad and Steven?.When they came back they said they were at a football match.They went to a place called Stamford Bridge.


This is the last day I am going to see Steven.He is going back all the way to Ireland.I will miss him soooo much.I hope to see him very soon.
